AFTER A WEEK off and suffering a defeat the previous week, the Toronto Eagles will be out to prove why they are one of the top two in the league.
This weekend they face the Guelph Gargoyles for the second time this season, in what is sure to be a feisty confrontation.
The Gargoyles have been playing good football the past two rounds, defeating Hamilton and the Demons. They will be looking to keep their finals hopes alive with a victory this weekend, so expect some hard football from them.
The Eagles will be fresh after the break and with some important players back into the side, will be looking to keep second place on the OAFL ladder.
Expect to see both sides field strong side and fighting hard for the four points this weekend.

STRENGTHS
Quick, flowing football is becoming the trademark for the 2009 Toronto Eagles and this weekend should be no exception.
Expect the Eagles to bounce back from their round 9 defeat and confirm their position on the ladder.
POTENTIAL WEAKNESSES
The Eagles will need to play four quarters of football if they are to secure the win. Guelph has the ability to nock them off if they don't come out switched on from the first whistle.
AT THE SELECTION TABLE
With some crutial players returning to the side, the Eagles will have a full and strong squad for this weekends game.
DANGERMAN
Mark Peterson: Playing in his first game back from hiatus, Peterson will add experience to the Eagles. Interesting fact, Peterson's first game was against Guelph and now his returning game will be against them as well. Peterson's size and good foot skills will be a handful.
IT'S NOT GENERALLY KNOWN...
The last time the Toronto Eagles lost two games in a row was in the 2006 season.
