WITH CELEBRATIONS from last weekend in the past, the Toronto Eagles look ahead to Friday night against the Etobicoke Kangaroos. This is no doubt the match of the round and their biggest test for the season.

In their previous meeting (round one, 2009) the Eagles, while undermanned, fought valiantly in a 35 point loss. This time the Eagles have a much more potent list and will be looking to take the four points.

Coach Aaron Falcioni see this as an opportunity for his team to show why they are contenders for this years cup. "I feel the team has been playing very good football over the past month" Falcioni stated "That being said, the competition hasn't been as good as what the Roos will be this Friday"

The Eagles head into Fridays match in top form. Holding firm in second spot on the ladder they will be pushing to cement their top two placing. With their top list almost complete the Eagles are looking to head deep into the post season.

The Roos have also been on a role, being undefeated thus far. But if you were at the game last weekend you would have notice that without their top three Aussie's, they battle when pressured.

This weekend’s game will eventually be won by the team whose Canadians have the biggest impact on the match.

STRENGTHS
The Toronto Eagles have been playing good, strong football since round one and it would be fair to say that the Eagles have the best contingent of Canadian footballers in the league. This will be the deciding factor in Friday’s game.

POTENTIAL WEAKNESSES
If the Eagles don't commit to their game plan and focus for four quarters, they could run the risk of losing control of the match.

AT THE SELECTION TABLE
With only a few omissions to the Eagles full strength side, the selected twenty two will be ready for Friday night.

DANGERMAN
Troy Marsh: Marsh missed the previous confrontation with the Roos in round 1. There’s no doubt that his inclusion will make the Eagles that much better on game day. Look for him to continue with his career best form.

IT'S NOT GENERALLY KNOWN...
The Toronto Eagles and Etobicoke Kangaroos have been the standard of the league for the past four years.
