FINALLY AFTER FOURTEEN rounds of football, two weeks of finals we are a day away from the 2009 OAFL grand final.

For the third year in a row the Toronto Eagles and the Etobicoke Kangaroos will battle for the ultimate prize in Canadian Football.

The Eagles have had an exceptional season this year, finishing with a 12-2 record. They will be looking to redeem last years grand final heartbreak and with their new style of play they will be hard to stop.

Hard running and quick ball movement have been the norm this year for the Eagles and they will be well motivated from the first whistle.

The Roos, who have had their best year by far, finished undefeated in the 2009 season with a 14-0 record. With their star Aussie's playing some excellent football they will be the favorites to take the title.

This is set to be a blockbuster of a match and we can only hope that it is just as good as last years thriller. Make sure your down at the ground early to participate in the grand final festivities, match starts at 2.30pm.

STRENGTHS
The Eagles have had one of their best season both on and off the field. With a new coach, a new style of play and some new faces, the club has started a new ear.

With hard running, quick ball movement and skillful delivery, the Eagles are one of the elite teams in the competition and making their third consecutive grand final proves this.

If the midfield keeps playing exceptional football, the backline holds strong and the forward line is firing, then the Eagles will be hard to beat.

POTENTIAL WEAKNESSES

The Kangaroos will be coming into the game as favorites and will be ready to play a competitive game of football. The Roos will be the best competition the Eagles will face so they will need to stick to their game plan.

AT THE SELECTION TABLE

For the first time this year the Eagles will have a full list to choose from. Coach Falcioni will have a strong group of players to work with.

DANGERMEN
Troy Marsh: With his fantastic season, Marsh will be expected to continue his sensational form into the grand final. Marsh has been playing some of his best football this year and nothing could mean more to him than to finish with the Premiership.

With excellent leadership, fantastic skills and great goal kicking expect 'Marshy' to rise to the top.

Tasos Dimacakos: Known by some as 'Mr Grand Final', Dimacakos has been the standout player in the past two grand finals, winning both BOG's.

With another strong and reliable season this year, Dimacakos will be expected to give his all to claim another premiership.

IT'S NOT GENERALLY KNOWN...
The Toronto Eagles and Etobicoke Kangaroos will face off for the third year straight in the OAFL grand final.
