AFTER A DISAPPIONTING RESULT in the first round of finals, the Toronto Eagles will be looking to keep their premiership campaign alive with a win in the second round of the Ontario Australian Football League (OAFL) finals.

This Saturday the Eagles will face traditional rivals, the Toronto Downtown Dingo's at Humber North, in what promises to be a classic game of football.

The Eagles, who will be using their second chance, will be looking to make amends for their marginal lost last week. After reflecting on the lost and moving forward the Eagles will be looking to play the brand of football that helped them to an undefeated season.

The Dingo's, who had a tough season, were exceptional last weekend with a solid fifty point win over the Guelph Gargoyles. They will be brimming with confidence and looking to secure a hard fought victory against the Eagles and move closer to their fifth premiership.

With everything on the line and no next week for the loser, this weekend’s match is set to be a well contested battle between two determined teams. Be sure to get down to Humber North College and support the Eagles this Saturday. Game starts at 10:30am.

STRENGTHS
After a marginal lost in the first round, The Eagles will be looking to get back on track this weekend. Their hard running and quick ball movement is unmached in the league. Expect to see a solid four quarters of football.

POTENTIAL WEAKNESSES
Last weekend the lapse in the second and third quarters was a key area that let the Eagles down. They will have to play four solid quarters of football if they want to walk away with the victory.

AT THE SELECTION TABLE
With a few minor injuries their will be a few ins and outs this week. Fortunately for coach Aaron Falcioni, there are suitable replacements available to fill these roles.

DANGERMAN
Samuel Rivett: In his first year at the club, Rivett has become a regular in the Eagles forward line. For a rookie his growth has been impressive and his determination, aggression and goal kicking has provided the Eagles with an alternative in front of goal.

IT'S NOT GENERALLY KNOWN...
The Toronto Eagles and the Toronto Downtown Dingos have the most premierships out of any teams in the league. The Eagles have 12 premierships and the Dingos have 4.
